ahhh crap.. such shit yearly marks..

hmm.. was on such a low until friday about my English marks.. and then got another part back, got depressed for.. 5 minutes, and thought, meh, it's English, there's always a second chance next year.

Heh.. 34% in Chemistry,, so bad, but the marks overall were pretty low as well, I must say.. I mean, I knew everything in the test, but still managed to fuck it up.. Oh well... dropping and picking up Senior Science.. hopefully I don't fuck that up as well..

Hmm.. picking up 4u maths and hopefully I won't be too bad at it..

err... DRAMA!! YAY!! I was quite happy about my marks in Drama... could've been a bit higher if I had prepared better for it, but yeah.. 24/30 for Monologue, and 25/30 for Group work.. hahaha.. 14/20 for my Logs.. oh so bad.. and 16/20 for my essay..

hmm... Dropping Music.. >__<" Kind of Glad, and kind of Sad.. heh, that rhymes.. but yeah.. glad that I'm rid of the damn syllabus now, but sad that I can't perform with them anymore..

Stuck Between Earth and Reality

Right now..

I'm a bit depressed...

What's making me depressed..?

Music. The Subject at School.

Don't ask me why.. Believe you me, I love music, but now it's just starting to piss me off.

Maybe it's the damn curriculum that's making me sad, because it totally conflicts my views on music.

My opinion?

Music is an art, like VA and Drama, to be appreciated. And like both of those, yes, there are guidelines, but restrictions are total bullshit. All performing arts are meant to be a freedom of expression, a way to express yourself in your own style. But lately, my passion for performing music... has practically gone into cardiac arrest, and can't recover.

I'm usually more resilient to shit, but this has happened too much, too many fucking restrictions in HSC Music, and the way Walker teaches it.

Fuck it. Dropping it next year.
